What a weekend. Saturday was packed with wins, lessons, and a lot of laughter. Ella came out strong—2nd out of 41 in barrels and placing in poles and trail too. Mirren had solid, consistent runs and earned her second qualifying pole run for Nationals, showing real progress all the way through. Loretta kept her focus with clean, confident patterns. Bonnie won her division in barrels Saturday, and Ainsley wrapped up the night with 2nd in the breakaway jackpot.
Sunday brought a few bumps but plenty of heart. Bonnie stayed on fire, placing 3rd in barrels and 2nd in poles, proving her hard work is paying off. Ella won trail and teamed up with Ainsley for 2nd in ribbon roping. Loretta loved her time on Gemma, loping home in both events with a huge smile. Between runs, Mirren, Ella, and Ainsley were down the alley roping the dummy a few stalls away from the boys—because of course they were.
And we can’t forget the famous dirt pile that kept the twins entertained (and absolutely filthy) Saturday evening. Every rodeo has its highlight, and that was definitely theirs.
The parents pulled together for an awesome food table that kept everyone full and happy, and our friend Macy surprised us Sunday morning to cheer on the girls. It was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend.
Needless to say, I’m exhausted. I think I sat down once Saturday—for about 15 minutes. If my Apple Watch hadn’t died, my step count would’ve been massive. I can’t thank the teenagers and parents enough for all the help. From setup and tear down to keeping eyes on kids, ears on announcers, and phones ready for videos—you make it possible for us to support everyone. I love your girls so much. Their success is my success.
Now we’re packing up and heading to Central Indiana Little Britches in Edinburgh next weekend for our last rodeo of 2025. Come cheer this crew on—it’s been one heck of a season, and we’re not done yet.
